Flatiron Health is a health-based technology company dedicated to improving cancer treatment and research. Working with over 280 community cancer centers and 7 major academic cancer centers across the U.S., Flatiron Health focuses on individual experiences with cancer to accelerate research and improve quality of patient care. Project completed with Artisan for Flatiron.
To emphasize the detailed level of impact that Flatiron provides to its industry, a visual system of outward-facing assets became a necessity. A series of new materials were developed onto existing elements to push the brand experience much further. White papers for potential recruits, advertising for speaking events, social media content, iconographic illustrations for pitch presentations, and versatile podcast visuals were created using simplistic elements in an organic manner.

A healthy, inclusive work environment for Flatiron employees has always been taken into high consideration. Through a series of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), an appreciation for its internal subcultures became an immediate point of engagement, highlighting the communities that make the company experience better, and why they are so special. The Asian & Pacific Islander group, Amig@s Latin@s LatinX community, and AccessAbility group focusing on those with disabilities, were all explorations taken to emphasize its multiple internal communities.

The impact of Flatiron would not be possible without those behind the screen. To celebrate and advertise the accomplishments of its internal teams and research success, a series of creative visual systems were developed to advertise each experience individually. Art In Tech talks, prize-driven training sessions, and semi-annual Hack-A-Thons were designed to engage with both employees and clients alike.
